A Visit From Krampus
I illustrated a book! This is my first book credit as an artist (and hopefully not my last)
I was fortunate to be asked to illustrate a delightful feline-inspired poetry book, scribed by Newton MacLean (a cat) via Jenn MacLean (a human).
From the human author’s website:
“A poem by Newton MacLean, transcribed by Jennifer L. MacLean …. Inspired by Clement Clarke Moore's A Visit from St. Nicholas, this is the night before Christmas as only a cat could tell it: the stockings, the tree, the baubles, and the horned visitor who keeps a list of his own”.
The book is illustrated with linocut prints, hand drawn and carved by me and printed at Alberta Printmakers.
